My Brother's Bomber

By Ken Dornstein

In December 1988, filmmaker Ken Dornstein’s older brother, David, was one of the 270 people, including 189 Americans, killed in the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland. Years later, Libyan Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was the only person convicted of the terror plot to bomb Flight 103. Al-Megrahi was sentenced to life in prison in Scotland but later released. Ken Dornstein was left with many questions, including: Who else was involved? Who was really responsible for one of the worst terrorist attacks on Americans before 9/11? My Brother’s Bomber, a three- part series aired on the TV news show Frontline in fall 2015, follows Dornstein’s search for answers.
