We are proud to announce the establishment of the Legacy Award of the Victims of Pan Am F103, Inc. Together we have accomplished many changes and shared victories these 27 years, yet we know our work must never end. When we, the original family members and friends, can no longer be present in the carrying on of our goals, this Legacy Award will represent us.
We will help scholars studying and working into the future to keep citizens safe and secure from the threats of terrorism and to prevent the deaths of innocent fathers, mothers and children. Awards will support advanced degree students preparing for careers related to the mission of VPAF 103, Inc.
We have been able to open the Legacy Fund of VPAF 103, Inc. with a $10,000 gift from the Victims of Pan Am Flight 103, Inc., which the Board voted to contribute at our August 16, 2015 meeting. In addition, a memorial gift has been given by the VPAF 103, Inc. to the Legacy Fund in honor of George White who was actively serving the organization at the time of his death on May 18, 2015. Our intentions are to have as many recipients as funding allows. Beginning now, we hope the Legacy Award will build to an endowment and become a long-lasting tradition. If not, it will continue as long as funding exists.
Monies received will be held separately and contributions are tax deductible under the 501(c)(3) status of VPAF 103, Inc. The first Award(s) will be given in fall 2017; the second awards will be made in fall 2018 to mark the 30th Anniversary Memorial Service. Questions can be sent to: email@example.com.
In memory of ALL our loved ones, we present this opportunity to everyone to participate in giving to the Legacy Award of The Victims of Pan Am Flight 103, Inc. Thank you!
