Received the Keeping the Spirit Alive Award on December 21, 2014

Michael O’Callaghan, an Air Force Veteran, was the FBI agent responsible for continuing the investigation of Pan Am 103 after the trial of Megrahi and Fhimah. Mike met with VPAF103 family members to keep us up to date on the events as they slowly evolved. He traveled to Libya after the fall of Ghaddafi to further the investigation and sent Bob Monetti a postcard from Bengazhi to prove he was there. In addition to his work with VPAF103, Mike went on to serve as Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the Boston Field Office where he specialized in organized crime.
