Mary Lou Ciulla

Scholarship Corresponding Secretary, Liaison to the Lockerbie Community Committee

Mary Lou Ciulla, widow of victim Frank Ciulla, has been an active participant on the hospitality committee for many of VPAF 103's major anniversaries in Syracuse and Washington, DC. She also served on the Advisory Board.  Mary Lou is a member of the Lockerbie Liaison Group and is the VPAF103 Scholarship Corresponding Secretary. Her main focus throughout the years has been on offering emotional support to victims of other terrorist attacks. Most notably, she cofounded a local support group for widows of 9/11 that continues to this day. She has repeatedly drawn on her own experience to help others through unimaginable loss and tragedy.         

Her personal priority has always been her 3 children, 7 grandchildren, her extended family, and friends. It is through her own experience that she learned the value of a wide and varied support system.
