Kathleen Flynn, mother of John Patrick “JP” Flynn, was a feisty lady who called it like it was. With confidence and conviction she readily accepted numerous media interviews on behalf of all the family members, all the while keeping a balanced point of view. Some recall her as “our voice on CNN.” Kathleen and her husband, Jack, faithfully attended all aspects the original trial of al-Megrahi. Her energy endured in the midst of her grief.
