Kate Hanson

Received the Keeping the Spirit Alive Award on December 21, 2018

Kate Hanson, associate director of the Syracuse University Honors Program, was awarded the KTSA award in recognition of her efforts to promote and sustain the Remembrance Scholarship program at the University, which annually honors the 35 SU students and remembers all 270 individuals who died in the Pan Am 103 bombing. Hanson participated in and led selection efforts by serving as lead of the scholar selection committee. Hanson also worked to establish the Center for Fellowship and Scholarship Advising at SU, which works to advocate for the Remembrance Scholarship on campus.
