John Pistole became Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in 2010.  A 26 year veteran and a former deputy director of the FBI, worked tirelessly to protect the flying public as well as airline and airport workers. He was instrumental in creating the PreCheck program and has led the TSA’s transformation to a risk-based, intelligence-driven counterterrorism agency dedicated to protecting our transportation system.
