Graham Herbert was the Rector (principal) of Lockerbie Academy in Lockerbie Scotland for almost 25 years. He supported, promoted and advanced the Syracuse-Lockerbie Scholarship program, which brings Academy students to Syracuse University each year as visiting scholars. Graham’s enthusiasm for the program ensured that the best students of Lockerbie could represent their town and school to their American counterparts, and continue the strong connection between Scotland, the U.S. and the families of those lost.
