Glenn Johnson, Jr., father of Beth Ann Johnson, was a founding organizer of the Victims of Pan Am Flight 103, Inc. He has been a board member since 1989 and has served in many positions including: Executive Vice-President (7 years), Treasurer (14 years), and Board Chair (10 years). Glenn was the VPAF103 representative to the FAA and later TSA’s Aviation Security Advisory Board (ASAC). Glenn is now an Emeritus member of the VPAF103 Board and ASAC.
Glenn graduated from Point Park College in business with engineering certifications in nuclear and aerospace systems. He retired after 60 years as Assistant Quality Manager for Summerill Tube, a Teledyne company. A founding member of Tri-Town Federal Credit Union, Glenn served as Chairman of the Supervisory Committee for 10 years. He was also a Board member of Shipmen’s FCU for 5 years. He is a member of the Family Assistance Education & Research Foundation, Inc. (FAERF) Survivor Advisory Board.
Glenn is active on his parish council and head of the parish’s Annual Diocesan Lenten Appeal. He received the diocesan Salt & Light award from Bishop Brandt and was Knighted by Pope Benedict XVI in the Order of St. Gregory
