From 2011 to 2014 Cara Howe was Syracuse University’s first Assistant Archivist to work specifically on the Pan Am 103 Archives. During her tenure she executed an online timeline and physical exhibit of Pan Am 103 historical events, and directed a major oral history program in Syracuse, London, and Lockerbie for those with personal knowledge of the tragedy including first responders, community residents, friends and family members, providing a permanent and personal record of how Pan Am 103 has affected so many.
